Universal Truth vs Situational Truth
In the area of personal development teachings have you noticed...
➤ Opinions are sometimes stated as if they are FACTS?
➤ Perspectives are sometimes stated as if they are true in ALL cases.
In both cases we are more powerful & at cause when we consciously make those determinations for ourselves. 🧐
The opposite is to blindly accept them which leads to unconsciously relying on them to guide us. 😴
🔑 The key is for YOU to decide if it will help you or get in your way...
WITH THAT IN MIND HOW DO YOU VIEW THESE COMMON IDEAS ...?
➡ What you focus on will manifest or happen
➡ Talking about something fearful gives it energy
➡ If you think about a bad result you're inviting it
➡ If you imagine failure, you're creating it
➡ Making a vision board of what you want will bring it into reality
➡ Talking about something negative makes it more likely to happen
➡ Just push something negative out of your mind - that will solve it
➡ You can't get rid of emotional pain - you just have to manage it
➡ The way you do 1 thing is how you do everything
In addition to those examples would be any idea that says or implies always or never. That is something to take a look at before accepting it; also, enough, not enough, too much, too little, etc.
There are two main issues here:
#1 The truth or validity of an idea, belief, thought, etc.
#2 Are you sovereign in your thinking? Do you decide for yourself?
The point I'm making is only about #2.
I support people in trusting what they know and trusting what is right for them, yet still honoring other points of view, too.
